SOLIDARITY with GEORGIA
To all Citizens of the European Union
It is in the European Union nations’ interest to give an unconditional support to Georgia. If Russia wins this conflict, a precedent to take similar steps towards all countries of the former soviet empire will be made.
The behavior during the negotiation for National Missile Defense constitutes a proof of Russian interference in other countries’ internal issues.
Having been strengthened by pacification of Georgia, Russia will take an offensive action against Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Poland. The conflict in Transcaucasia is for Russia most of all the way to block fuel supply to Europe from Azerbaijan and Middle-west Asia.
The biggest threat for our independence is the attempt to draw Poland into pro-Russian lobby. Powerful Russian agents from all sphere of public life will undertake it. The independence of countries from former USSR is a guarantee of Polish independence. Everyone neglecting this will contribute to our return under the influence of Russia
We are appealing to President of the Republic of Poland.
* to constitute the issue of Georgia in international public
* to make a diplomatic alliance of countries from the region under threat of Russia
* to support the idea of introduction of international army into the area under the military conflict in Georgian territory, demanding immediate withdrawal of Russian army
* to send humanitarian and medical aid to Georgia
* to create an airlift for transporting casualties

We appeal to all nations for solidarity with the Nation of Georgia. They are defending their independence in a one-sided struggle, assaulted by the superpower. Russia has never reconciled itself to a break-up of the empire. Let’s remember: today - Georgia, tomorrow – Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Poland… Russia wants to subordinate whole Europe. Its energetic policy is the best example! The words: “we don’t want to die for Georgia” remind us – Poles the words said in 1939 “we don’t want to die for Gdansk”. People saying them were later dying for France, Belgium, the Netherlands, England…No objection makes an aggressor more impudent. Chechnya was dying before whole world’s very eyes. Today it is Georgia.
Russia has repeated the embers of military conflicts very cunningly: Gharabagh, Transnistria, Tskhinavali, Abkhazia.
It is not true that a single man can nothing. We are appealing to our governments, politicians to give Georgia their support. We are organizing manifestations at Russian embassies and we are issuing letters of support to Georgia’s embassies. Let’s not believe in Russian propaganda! Let’s send humanitarian and medical aid.
The Polish Nation remembers the solidarity of free world’s nations in the eye of “the martial law” introduced by governors of Moscow. The society of Poland did not surrender thanks to such ordinary people.
Many enslaved nations managed to regain their independence thanks to cooperation of all nations of former USSR Perestroika had got out of control and the empire broke up. Now, it wants to regain its lost territories and influences!
“We highly appreciate the support and friendship shown by Poles. Poland is a great example of how a freedom-loving nation can be conquered brutally. However, its unwavering spirit and self-respect will never be suppressed. That spirit and self-respect will be the basis for the future generations of Georgia” – prime minister of Georgia in special announcement.
Let’s show solidarity!!!!

For urgent dissemination: People need help statement on the current situation in Tskhinvlai Region
In Georgian villages of the Tskhinvali region under connivance of the so-called Russian peacekeeper, Ossetian marauders burn houses, bring out belongings of the local population, beat local residents of the elder age who was not able to move from the conflict zone. Currently it happens in Tkviavi, Disevi is burning, Nikozi is destroyed. Paramilitary troops appeared in Gori searching houses for armaments and local population.
Red Cross is not allowed to enter villages in order to transport locals and dead bodies.
There are no other international organizations in the region. OSCE Mission withdrew its employees during the first days of conflict.
We apply to the diplomatic corps in Georgia, to the all human rights protection and humanitarian international organizations to interfere urgently in order to stop violence and provide access of the International Red Cross to the region in order to support helpless local residents.
